At Bollnäs Hospital, you are welcomed by a warm, family-like atmosphere where we support each other across departmental boundaries. The specialist care in Bollnäs provides specialist rehabilitation in several wards and clinics at Bollnäs Hospital as well as at a clinic in Söderhamn, and we work closely together to create the best possible care for our patients. We have a broad competence represented by physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, rehabilitation assistants, care coordinators, and secretaries - a dedicated team of a total of 21 people.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have a varied everyday life within different specialist areas, for example, in our neuro team, external stroke team, hand rehabilitation, and in wards. We work person-centered and always in close collaboration with other professional groups.

As an occupational therapist with us, you will among other things:

• conduct occupational therapy assessments and treatments
• perform home visits when working in the external stroke team
• engage in patient education
• work based on national care pathways
• participate in regional meetings based on specialist areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in the role of occupational therapist with us, we believe that you are a person who appreciates collaboration and has an easy time communicating with both patients and colleagues. You are self-driven and take responsibility for moving your work forward, while being service-oriented and engaging with patients with commitment, respect, and attentiveness. For you, service means not only providing support in the moment but also creating security and trust by addressing each patient's unique needs. You have the ability to inspire and motivate in rehabilitation and can plan and organize your work in a way that suits the operation. When situations become challenging, you remain calm and focus on what is most important.

In the role of occupational therapist, you should:

• be a licensed occupational therapist.

If you have previous experience working in specialist care and/or in hand rehabilitation, this is an advantage.
