Specialist Physician in Digital Psychiatry
Sandviken Psychiatric Clinic is part of the specialist psychiatry within Region Gävleborg and is responsible for providing services that promote mental health and quality of life. We work evidence-based and offer a versatile range of treatment options. Our operations are characterized by good reception, high availability, and good results. We are now looking for a specialist physician for digital/hybrid service. The base location is Sandviken, but the work is mainly conducted remotely and also includes on-call work in Gävle. As a specialized physician in digital psychiatry, it is of utmost importance that you physically attend the clinic in Sandviken every fourth week. Additionally, it is extremely important that you are available for on-call and standby service when you work on-site.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a specialist physician with us, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care remotely and contributing to the development of the organization. You will actively collaborate with other professionals within the clinic such as psychologists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care. You are expected to participate in development work and have the opportunity to tailor the assignment based on specific competencies and interests. You are also expected to be able to mentor and teach younger colleagues and other professional groups.
As a specialist physician with us, you will work with:
- assessment and treatment of patients with various psychiatric conditions, including affective disorders, anxiety syndromes, personality disorders, ADHD, and bipolar disorder
- conducting psychiatric investigations, making diagnostic decisions, and establishing individual treatment plans
- medical evaluation and follow-up of patients' treatment and medications
- guiding conversations and support for patients to strengthen their mental health.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who is engaged and attentive in interactions with others. You have an open and accepting attitude, value collaboration, and utilize others' competencies while being aware of your own strengths and areas for development. You are meticulous and have a structured way of working with an eye for detail, and you are expected to have a genuine interest in medical research and patient safety. Good collaboration skills and humility are crucial for success in the team-based work environment.
In the role of specialist physician, you should:
- be a specialist physician in psychiatry with Swedish medical license
- have documented clinical experience.
For this position, it is an advantage if you have experience working in psychiatric outpatient care.
