Nurse for the Resource Team in Skellefteå Municipality
Do you believe that every person deserves care tailored to their needs? Would you also like a job where you take responsibility while feeling strong support from an engaged team? Then the role of nurse with us in Skellefteå Municipality might be just right for you.
The Resource Team is now looking for two licensed nurses who want to work broadly throughout Skellefteå Municipality and contribute to close, safe, and person-centered care. Here you will have a role with variation, meaningfulness, and strong support from colleagues who enjoy thinking together.
YOUR ROLE
As a nurse in the resource team, you will have a daily life that is both dynamic and meaningful. You will work throughout the municipality and become an important reinforcement in our care and nursing homes or within home care. You are not the patients' fixed care contact, but step into ongoing cases and work based on the care plans and assessments made by the regular nurse. This means that you perform interventions, make new assessments when needs arise, and follow up on actions to ensure that the patient receives the right care at the right time.
The work involves close collaboration with colleagues in the resource team, other nurses around the municipality, and rehabilitation staff. You also collaborate with nursing staff in the facilities you are scheduled at, where each professional group contributes their expertise to create safe and well-functioning care. In this role, you will meet many different people and functions, and therefore work in continuous interaction with patients, relatives, and other actors – both within the municipality and the region. Together, you create conditions for safe and qualitative care. No matter where you work, support is close, while you have a great responsibility in the execution of the assignment.
YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has work experience in the profession. You are confident in your profession and used to independently handling the tasks included in municipal health and medical care. If you have a relevant specialist education, we consider it an advantage.
In this role, you need to have a genuine interest in collaboration and thrive in an environment where dialogue, participation, and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your assessments.
As a person, you work in a structured and careful manner, with the ability to prioritize correctly even when conditions change. You are stable and considerate in your interactions and have a pedagogical ability that allows you to create security and understanding in various situations. We believe you will function best in the role if you are solution-oriented, responsible, and enjoy combining independent work with close teamwork.
A driving license (B) is a requirement, as well as a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. If you can speak Finnish, Sami, or sign language, it is an asset in our operations.
YOUR NEW WORKPLACE
As a nurse in the resource team, you will start from the relevant workplace when you work in the central area. For shifts in the outskirts, you will start and end your day at Tor, a care and nursing home in central Skellefteå. The position currently primarily involves daytime work, but evening and weekend work is included, and night shifts may occur. Our priority is to be available and work preventively when patients need us the most.
As a nurse in our health and medical care unit, you will be part of an engaged team where we work to ensure that every patient has a daily life filled with safety, care, and quality of life. Here, you will meet colleagues who are eager to share knowledge and support each other. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and person-centered care that truly makes a difference in people's lives. We offer you support in your development through individual onboarding, continuing education, and good development opportunities.
With us, you will have a job that truly matters – for both you and the people you meet. Read more about the role of nurse in Skellefteå Municipality here (https://skelleftea.se/sjukskoterska).
GOOD TO KNOW
