Nurse for care and nursing home in Umeå municipality - Summer 2026
About the assignment

Umeå municipality is seeking licensed nurses for care and nursing homes for the elderly during the summer of 2026, weeks 25-33. You will work independently within municipal health and medical care with a clear medical responsibility.

Job responsibilities

Standard nursing tasks within special housing (SÄBO)
Medication management and medical assessments
Documentation according to applicable guidelines
Supervision of care staff
Coordination with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Responsibility for high quality in medical care

Qualifications

Licensed nurse
At least 2 years of professional experience
Valid SITHS card
Experience in municipal care or elderly care is an advantage
Ability to work independently
Good communication and documentation skills in Swedish
