We are currently looking for a nurse with an initial placement at Ömhetens care and nursing home. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference every day while developing and growing in your professional role.

YOUR ROLE

As a nurse, you will become an important part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to provide safe, person-centered, and high-quality care in the patient's home. You will independently assess, plan, implement, and follow up on health and medical interventions for patients aged 18 and older. The work is varied and mobile, where you are expected to prioritize between different interventions, make your own decisions, and take initiatives based on the patient's needs.

At Ömhetens care and nursing home in Morö Backe, you work closely with the residents, their relatives, and your colleagues in the team. You will follow the patients' needs over time and actively contribute to the daily work at the unit, focusing on continuity, safety, and quality in care. Currently, the position involves approximately four evening shifts and working every sixth weekend.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

You are a licensed nurse, or soon to be licensed, and preferably have experience working as a nurse. A good subject competence and a desire to continuously develop within your professional field are important for you to succeed in the role. If you also have completed specialist training in relevant areas, it is an advantage.

We believe you will thrive in the role if you are independent, proactive, and responsible. You work carefully and systematically, have an eye for detail, and are stable and secure in your working method — meaning you can remain calm and prioritize correctly even in a rapidly changing and challenging work environment. As a person, you are pedagogical and considerate in your approach and enjoy working closely in a team. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

For the position, you need to have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since Skellefteå municipality is a Finnish and Sámi administrative municipality, we see it as advantageous if you can speak Finnish or Sámi. If you can also use sign language, we consider it an asset in the organization.
