Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. In the local healthcare area of Skellefteå, the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö are included. Together, these aim to provide good and close care.

The Medical and Geriatric Clinic in Skellefteå is one of the hospital's largest clinics with about 300 employees. The clinic's care places are distributed based on medical and geriatric orientations. The majority of admissions are acute and occur via the emergency department. The outpatient care consists of medicine, geriatrics, and dialysis clinics. Within the medical clinic, there are also day care activities and a physiological laboratory. The clinic also has a research unit, which is unique for a county hospital.

We are currently looking for nurses for Ward 6, where our focus is on heart-lung diseases and general internal medicine. The ward also includes the hospital's cardiac monitoring places.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel safe.

We work in teams where nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors are included. Physiotherapists and occupational therapists are also important partners around the patient.

As a nurse with us, you will have an important role in daily patient work. You are responsible for care, medical assessments, and coordination of care efforts. Ward 6 has short care times, and the work will involve a great deal of variety in terms of content and pace. With our cardiac monitoring places, there is also the opportunity to learn and work with ECG and telemetry interpretation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in cardiology. It is advantageous if you have experience in cardiological and/or medical emergency care.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team, while being confident in making independent decisions and working autonomously. You are flexible, attentive, and have an understanding of people's differences and needs. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
