Humana's Outpatient Care in Norrbotten is looking for a Youth Therapist

Do you want to work towards creating positive changes in people's lives and be part of an engaged and growing organization? We are now looking for a youth therapist with a therapeutic focus for our outpatient care in Norrbotten. The office is located in Luleå.

As a youth therapist with us, you will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and their families for therapeutic purposes. You will be an important part of our team and help strengthen and develop our operations in Norrbotten, where we provide modern, evidence-based outpatient care.

About us:

Humana is one of Sweden's leading providers of qualified outpatient care, offering flexible interventions for both children and adults. We primarily conduct our interventions in the client's home or at our office. Our organization values continuous method development, and we offer training and supervision in the IHF method (Intensive Home-Based Family Treatment). Our outpatient operations also collaborate with Humana's foster homes, HVB, and Support Housing. Humana conducts and has training rights in the methods Connect and TFCO (Treatment Foster Care Oregon). Read more about our operations at https://www.humana.se/individ-och-familj/oppenvard.

We are a sought-after complement to municipalities' own resources and offer qualified interventions tailored to the client's needs. Our methods are research-based and evaluated, and we always strive to maintain the highest standards in our work.

About the position:

Our outpatient care in Norr is growing, and we are now looking for a therapist to join our team in Luleå. In this role, you will work with children and adolescents as well as their families and help establish the Luleå unit's outpatient care. The unit's interventions include IHF, Care Assessment, A-CRA, B-12, ERASOR, Connect, and Marte Meo, and you will receive relevant training to work according to our methods.

The work involves both digital meetings, meetings at the offices in Luleå and Umeå, and travel within our catchment area, which requires flexibility and planning. A large part of the work is conducted in clients' homes, which creates the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives. You will work in an engaged and competent team, where we have fun at work and constantly develop together.

We are looking for someone who wants to:

  • Work systematically with children and adolescents as well as their families to create sustainable changes.

  • Use evidence-based methods, evidence-based practice, and standardized tools for assessments and documentation.

  • Work closely in a team where each employee's contribution plays an important role in a favorable change process.

  • Work with complex cases and contribute to developing and improving the quality of social work.

  • Work in an open work environment where our core values of joy, engagement, and responsibility are lived out every day.

Who are you?

We believe you will thrive in the role if you find it easy to create and maintain good relationships and have a genuine commitment to helping others. You are curious, systemically oriented, and capable of working both independently and in a team. You are good at expressing yourself in writing and enjoy working with challenging cases where you and your team find solutions and strategies together.

The work involves some evening and weekend work, and part of the work takes place in other locations, which involves travel and sometimes overnight stays. The position includes on-call duty approximately every seventh week, where you provide support and guidance to families by phone as needed. Flexibility and good availability are therefore important qualities for succeeding and thriving in the role.

Qualifications:

  • Social worker or other education deemed equivalent.

  • Experience in psychosocial treatment work.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Training in IHF, TFCO, MST, FFT, A-CRA, HAP, or similar.

  • Step 1, Basic psychotherapy training.

  • Knowledge of trauma.

  • Experience from a similar role.

  • Experience in assessment and evaluation work.

We offer:

A developing career opportunity with significant influence over your own work and the chance to grow within the company.

  • Internal and external training and supervision.

  • A work environment where joy, responsibility, and engagement are central values.

  • Benefits such as wellness allowance, flexible working hours, and the possibility of a company car.

Duration/Working hours:

Permanent employment, full-time.

A 6-month probationary period applies.
