Social Worker Wanted for IFO within Social Services

The IFO department within Social Services has a collective mission from the social committee to be responsible for all citizens under 65 years who need support in their social situation or due to disabilities. Support and care have several operational areas, one of which is Support for children and families. Here we investigate and offer support to children and young people aged 0-18 years.

We are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position in the reception and a temporary position in the Children and Youth group due to parental leave and leave of absence.

Job Responsibilities

• The Reception
  The main task of the reception is to receive and assess incoming reports of concern and to accept applications for support. An important task in the reception is to provide advice and support to the citizens of Piteå and collaborate with various partners such as schools, police, and the region. The assignment also includes being present in various forums to inform about social services.
• The Children and Youth Group
  In the Children and Youth group, you will work with investigations according to SoL based on reports of children at risk and applications for support measures according to SoL and LVU. The work also includes following up on decided measures such as family treatment, contact person/contact family, HVB/SiS, and emergency placements. We always work with the support of BBIC. Our assessments and decisions should be characterized by clarity and legal certainty. We should, in all contexts, meet, highlight, and assess the individual and family from a holistic perspective.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker. It is important to us that you are secure, stable, and responsible, and that you act in a professional manner adapted to the situation. You have good collaboration skills and a calm and accommodating demeanor. Experience in authority exercise, BBIC, Signs of Safety, motivational and change work, as well as familiarity and good documentation skills may be advantageous. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

More about the Position

Temporary position, full-time. Two positions available.
- The position in the Reception is a temporary position for 6 months.
- The position in the Children and Youth group is a temporary position for 1 year.

Start date by agreement.
