The Assistance Unit is located in central Luleå and is responsible for investigating, assessing, and deciding on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and based on Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC). When you start with us, you will receive an introduction with an experienced colleague and follow our introduction plan to grow into your role. Job Responsibilities

As a case officer, you are a central part of the social administration's work to ensure support for the elderly. The main job responsibilities are:

• informing citizens about interventions and regulations.
• maintaining close dialogue with individuals in need of support and their relatives.
• investigating and assessing the need for interventions and writing proposals for decisions.
• collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, additional tasks may arise depending on your experience and background. Our hope is that you can grow with the tasks and gain valuable experiences for your future career.

Your working hours are scheduled during the day with the possibility of flexibility.

Who We Are Looking For

You have a genuine interest and commitment to support and help elderly people. Furthermore, you should have:

• completed or ongoing social work education, or another university/college education that the employer deems appropriate.
• good Swedish, both spoken and written.

We see it as a plus if you have experience in public authority or case management within elderly care (SoL). As a person, you should be collaborative, structured, and analytical. We place great emphasis on your personal competencies in this recruitment.

Start date according to agreement.
