Responsibilities

You play a central role in the care and support of the users. The work is based on individual needs, implementation plans, and the organization's guidelines and goals. Your tasks include assisting users with things they cannot manage on their own, such as hygiene, social interaction, meals, and possibly administering medication under the delegation of a nurse. The job involves some caregiving but with a strong focus on low-arousal responses, structure, and pedagogy. You create opportunities for them to live an active life based on their individual circumstances. You work in a team, and the job includes contact and collaboration with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and relatives/representatives, among others.

Qualifications

You have completed upper secondary education in the Health and Care Program, Child and Leisure Program, or another educational background that the employer considers equivalent, such as Social Pedagogue and/or care/assistance training. We prefer that you have previous experience working with people with disabilities. You should have good skills in communicating as well as reading and writing in Swedish. We see that you are flexible, take responsibility and initiative in your work, and have good collaboration skills. Since you work with people, a good approach, being empathetic, and service-oriented are also important.

More about the position

Permanent employment, full-time. We work according to the full/part model, which means full-time employment with the possibility of part-time work. Start date according to agreement. Working hours: Day/evening and weekend according to schedule. We apply individual scheduling based on a 7-week schedule.
