We are looking for someone who can take on the role of an experienced project manager and urban planner within detailed planning and comprehensive planning, as well as an author of various strategic investigations and planning documents.

We are a highly skilled department with about 50 colleagues. In addition to planning expertise, we have colleagues who work with development, real estate development, and social sustainability, among others. Our clients include municipalities, government agencies, and private developers.

About the position As an urban planner at WSP, you can have both a project-leading and a handling role. You will primarily work on assignments of varying complexity. The project manager role also includes responsibility for the project's economy, progress, follow-up, and sometimes leading other colleagues in the assignments. In the project manager role, you will also contribute to knowledge transfer to more junior colleagues in a kind of mentorship.

Our assignments are primarily related to the Planning and Building Act (PBL), such as detailed plans, planning programs, comprehensive plans, and deepening of comprehensive plans. We also work as process leaders and advisors in planning issues for municipalities and private actors, as well as in preliminary study phases with various types of analyses, building programs, physical design ideas, quality programs, plot investigations, and investigative work for government agencies. We work on assignments throughout the country, but the intention is that you will primarily work in southwestern Sweden.

Qualifications You who are applying should have a master's degree in one of the architecture programs or equivalent education. To thrive in the role, we see that you are driven by a community interest and have good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act. You have a good understanding of the urban development process. You are used to project managing detailed plans and other planning assignments. We want you to have at least 10 years of experience in the role of Urban Planner, either as a consultant or from work in a municipality.

You have good collaboration skills, are creative, attentive, and communicative, and need to express yourself very well in both spoken and written Swedish. We are also looking for someone who is driven to acquire exciting assignments and who brings a network within the field.
