The Role

Together with a colleague, you will plan and perform care during the night.

The work includes both mental, physical, and social care for the elderly.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will:

• Create a safe and pleasant environment where each individual receives the care they need, which includes everything from personal care and service to social support
• Play a crucial role in supporting our clients in their daily lives
• Work closely with other staff to ensure high quality of care
• Document according to the Social Services Act, administer medication, and perform rehabilitation efforts as delegated
• Participate in skills development and development through areas of responsibility

Parts of your working hours are not fixed in the unit's basic schedule but will be fulfilled where the need arises.

We are currently about 20 employees welcoming you to our wonderful team at Kvarnängen, where we have space for 18 clients with varied needs. Our working method is characterized by a lack of prestige, solution focus, and teamwork. The work is filled with activities, laughter, socializing, and we provide opportunities for a more independent life for our clients through a person-centered approach. The work we do is important, and year after year we have climbed in national surveys, allowing us to be proud of our job and the difference we make for our clients on a daily basis.

Is this you?

You can present a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively, you can prove permanent employment as a nursing assistant according to current directives from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

• You have experience in elderly care
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and are computer literate to document in our IT systems
• You are a responsive and communicative person who can provide a friendly approach and support clients in their wishes and needs
• In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and focus on solutions
• You are engaged, responsible, and self-driven
