Our Operations

The Hematology section consists of a care department and an outpatient clinic. We treat patients with various forms of blood diseases, ranging from more acute blood diseases to patients with different forms of chronic blood diseases that we follow over several years. We investigate and follow up patients undergoing Allogeneic (stem cells from a donor) and Autologous (own stem cells) stem cell transplants. We also assess healthy donors from the Tobias registry prior to a stem cell donation. There is a lot of research conducted within the field, which provides many new treatment options for our patients.

The clinic consists of four units: hematological day care with a treatment clinic also in Gränby for patients needing chemotherapy, transfusions, antibiotics, bloodletting, etc., a BMT clinic that investigates and follows up patients and donors in connection with blood stem cell transplantation, and a physician's clinic where we receive patients from the entire region (Uppsala, Dalarna, Gävleborg, Hälsingland, Södermanland, Värmland, Västmanland, and Örebro counties) for investigation and follow-up.

Being a Nurse in Our Clinic

Being a nurse in our clinic is an exciting job where you meet people in many different situations and stages during the disease process. You become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you will also work independently to a large extent. As a newcomer, there are many experienced colleagues to lean on since we have a low staff turnover and a very good working environment. Here you can expect a varied job with challenging tasks to grow and develop with. We always focus on the patient and have, through a successful project, moved cancer care from the core area to, among other things, a location in Gränby center. We are constantly working to develop the care of our patients for their best and include them in what they see as beneficial for the individual. Your Mission

We are now looking for a new colleague for our day care unit as we need to expand. In our day care, you will handle central and peripheral accesses, administer various drug infusions, chemotherapy treatments, and transfusions. The work also includes coordinating and collaborating with other healthcare providers for the best of our patients. You should be familiar with healthcare administrative systems such as Cosmic. You also play an important role as support for our patients. The work involves close contact with doctors and colleagues working in the clinic. You are never alone!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with several years of experience in the profession. Experience as a nurse in inpatient care for at least three years is a requirement. Experience in hematology or oncology is an advantage.

We value flexibility, good collaboration skills, and a good approach with the patient in focus. The work requires that you can work both independently and together with others in a changing work pace. You want to be part of developing the operations together with us. We Offer

We offer a permanent position with start date and salary according to agreement. The work at the clinic is during the day, Monday - Friday.
