Your Role

We are looking for a Quality Leader/Business Developer for the Ground Support Equipment department. The position includes two roles with a common goal: to ensure an efficient operation with quality deliveries. The work is carried out both individually and in teams where you will closely collaborate with managers and employees from our sections in Östersund, Arboga, and Malmslätt.

As a Quality Leader, you will be responsible for:

• leading the department's quality work
• coordinating the work of quality inspectors
• training quality inspectors and other employees in the quality area
• investigations and analyses within the quality area

As a Business Developer, you will:

• support the operation in development issues
• engage and guide the operation in everyday improvement work
• identify areas for improvement, as well as initiate, lead, and participate in improvement work
• write new and update existing processes and routines
• support the implementation of new processes and routines
• measure and analyze the results of implemented improvements

The Ground Support Equipment department currently consists of about 210 employees with operations in Linköping, Arboga, and Östersund. We are part of the Aeronautics business area within Saab AB. Our department works with businesses aimed at maintenance systems for aircraft and helicopters, as well as facilities and hangars. Our assignments consist of supplying maintenance systems with the right equipment so that preventive and corrective maintenance can be performed for our customers and end-users.

You will be based at one of our locations, Östersund, Arboga, or Linköping. Travel between locations is part of the role.

Your Profile

You are creative and have an easy time thinking outside the box while being able to communicate and implement ideas in practice. You are communicative and have the ability to get multiple parties to work towards the same idea and vision. Since the role involves many points of contact, it is important that you are flexible and unpretentious, as well as good at creating and maintaining long-term relationships. You have strong analytical skills, can work independently, and have a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in working with processes, routines, and quality
• Good understanding of what type of documentation is needed from a production and quality perspective for a functioning production and support operation
• Communicative with good knowledge of both Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Technical background with a degree at the university level or equivalent experience

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience with IFS systems related to product and production structures
• Experience in configuration management
• Experience in production management or production planning

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
