Electrical Designer for Exciting Role at GPI in Lund

We are now looking for an Electrical Designer for Graphic Packaging International in Lund.

As an Electrical Designer, you will have an independent role throughout the project chain, from the concept phase to implementation and commissioning. In your role, you will design correct and safe electrical systems based on customer requirements for functionality, quality, and safety. You will be part of a team that currently consists of nine automation engineers and mechanical designers reporting to the Engineering Manager. As an Electrical Designer, you will replace a previous colleague and become an important part of this competent team. You will work on designing and developing technical solutions according to current standards for packaging machines in the European and North American markets.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for technical specifications regarding electrical and automation
- Responsible for producing electrical drawings for packaging machines and electrical documentation
- Work with electrical calculations and selection of electrical components
- Follow up on applicable regulations regarding machine safety and perform safety calculations
- Further develop electrical and automation systems
Your Profile
You have relevant education such as electrical designer, electrical engineer, or automation engineer, as well as at least 3–5 years of work experience in electrical design/electronic systems and installation in machine systems. You also have documented experience in machine safety according to the Machinery Directive and relevant harmonized standards. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English.
Experience with safety calculations in PilzPascal or Sistema is a plus. Authorization B, preferably AL, for electrical installations is also an advantage.
As a person, you are communicative, driven, and goal-oriented. You have analytical thinking and a structured working method. You are also meticulous and solution-oriented. We often work closely together, so it is important that you can easily collaborate with others.
About the Position
This is a permanent position that starts as soon as possible and is based at the office in Lund. Occasional business travel may occur.
