Sandeklevsskolan in Bergsjön has approximately 300 students from grades F-9 and an after-school program.

We have good transportation links with trams, while being close to large green areas. The school systematically works on safety and study peace, resulting in both students and teachers feeling comfortable and finding peace at work. Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher in wood and metal crafts for teaching grades 3–9. You will be part of a teaching team that develops teaching and leadership in classrooms together. Together with your colleagues, you will create conditions for students' knowledge development to achieve the goals of the curriculum.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching while working to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. Furthermore, you will be responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development. Your position also includes a mentoring role in the middle school, grade 5.

To ensure that you, as a newly graduated teacher, get the best possible start in your career, you will be part of the School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.

Qualifications

Formal Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for a certified teacher with the qualification to teach wood and metal crafts for grades 3–9. You express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Additional qualifications in a theoretical subject
• Previous experience in the teaching profession, but you who are newly graduated are also welcome to apply
• Experience in pedagogical work in socio-economically disadvantaged and/or multicultural areas

Personal Qualifications

You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You take your own initiatives and actively work with clear guidance and leadership in the classroom.

You find it enjoyable, stimulating, and developing to teach students who are in second language development and provide each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities. You communicate clearly and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to embrace new knowledge.
