The Center for Multilingual Learning (CFL) is a municipal school organization. We operate based on the vision of Borås City for preschool and school, Lust to Learn - Opportunity to Succeed.

CFL is responsible for the reception and assessment of newly arrived students. We also handle mother tongue instruction and study guidance.

Mother Tongue Teacher in Dutch at the Primary School Administration Job Responsibilities

The role of a mother tongue teacher in Dutch involves planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching based on applicable governing documents. You document students' development and results in written assessments and grades. You collaborate with teachers in work teams at CFL and teachers at the schools where you teach and provide study guidance. The position may be expanded with study guidance for students in their mother tongue Dutch based on needs.

You are expected to actively participate in CFL's professional development, which is a central part of our operations.

We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license in the subject of mother tongue Dutch or other education deemed equivalent. We seek someone who is skilled at teaching and good at creating positive relationships in the contexts you operate. You also have good administrative skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in your mother tongue as well as in Swedish. In collaboration with other staff, you create an environment where children can develop a desire to learn and have the opportunity to succeed. To succeed in this role, we see your personal qualities as important. A driver's license and car are considered an asset as the work is spread across several schools in Borås City.
