The award-winning Language Center Mölndal works to ensure that all children and students in the city can develop their multilingual skills. We receive newly arrived students, are responsible for mother tongue teaching and study guidance in the city, as well as modern languages in some schools. We also lead the development of Swedish as a second language and school libraries. Through our support to preschools and schools, we create conditions for newly arrived and multilingual students' learning and development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a study guide in Mölndal, you will provide guidance at the primary and/or secondary school level.

Your role may also include conducting assessments of newly arrived students' knowledge and providing support for preschool children.

All teachers/study guides are part of a development group and learning groups to ensure quality and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is suitable for the position and has relevant education for the role
• has very good knowledge of current governing documents, such as curricula and course syllabi
• has experience in study guidance
• has good digital competence
• has very good knowledge of Swedish and Ukrainian/Russian both spoken and written
• knowledge of additional languages is an advantage

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and a driver's license is an advantage. Experience in teaching in Swedish primary schools is an asset. If a part-time position suits you better, we are also open to that.
