Within social services, we provide open care and authority functions for children, youth, and elderly people. The social services sector is divided into different units and areas of responsibility. The care and support unit is growing, and in connection with this recruitment, the unit is also expanding with an additional social worker. The workgroup has begun team collaboration and is divided into two teams. The unit consists of social workers, senior social workers, and a unit manager. The assistance unit consists of an experienced and knowledgeable workgroup where collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to our working method.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for two committed social workers focused on the elderly, one of the positions is an expansion.

As a social worker, you will handle applications, investigate, assess needs, inform, make decisions, and follow up on services for those entitled to assistance under the Social Services Act (SoL). We work to meet people in need of support, including seniors as well as younger individuals with various support needs in their daily lives. We also regularly meet relatives and guardians where guidance is an important part.

We collaborate with service providers, such as home care, special accommodations, and other social services, authorities, and healthcare. The work involves a high degree of authority functions with demands for legal security, a common approach, and equitable assessments. With your knowledge and a good attitude, you ensure that the individuals you meet receive the help and support they need to live a good and independent life like others.

We use the documentation system Procapita/Life Care, and the assistance unit has been working based on IBIC for several years. The assignment includes managing the care planning system SAMSA. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

For the positions in care and support, you need to have experience in handling cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL), and experience with the target group/focus on the elderly is an advantage.

Since the positions involve administrative work, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working as a social worker, as well as experience with documentation according to IBIC and in the operational systems Life Care and SAMSA.

To fit the role, you need to be meticulous, structured, and efficient with your time. You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to ensure it is carried out well, keeping both users, relatives, and your workgroup in mind.

For the assignment as a social worker, we are looking for you who see opportunities for beneficial changes and contribute to creating situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. You work transparently and inclusively towards both the workgroup and the team leader and unit manager.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license (B) is required.
