About the role As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for the operational delivery within product, logistics, and aftermarket in the Nordic organization. The role has a clear mandate to identify improvements and drive development, while contributing to the long-term shift of the business. This role is a key position focused on ensuring that the operational business functions effectively across borders and supports business growth.

You will lead and develop a team of six people, report directly to the General Manager, and work closely with both local teams and central functions within the group.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure an efficient and quality-assured logistics operation in the Nordics

  • Be responsible for purchasing and sourcing from external suppliers outside the group, including supplier selection, contracts, and ongoing follow-up

  • Coordinate purchasing priorities in close collaboration with the product, logistics, and sales organizations

  • Monitor operational performance, delivery times, and efficiency in purchasing, logistics, and aftermarket processes, focusing on scalability and growth

  • Act as a link between local teams and central functions within the group

  • Ensure compliance with guidelines, systems, and operational standards from the group

  • Identify areas for improvement and drive development and improvement initiatives

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Documented experience of operational responsibility within purchasing, logistics, aftermarket, or supply chain

  • Good understanding of strategic purchasing, logistics flows, inventory management, and aftermarket processes

  • Experience in leading, coordinating, or managing work across multiple functions and teams

  • Experience working in an international environment with collaboration between local units and central functions

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written

Experience in improvement work, process development, or harmonization of working methods is highly meritorious. Experience working with ERP and other operational systems is a plus, as well as academic education in logistics, supply chain, engineering, economics, or equivalent. Knowledge of Nordic languages in addition to English is also meritorious.

Your profile We are looking for someone who has a clear operational overview and sees the connections between purchasing, logistics, inventory, aftermarket, and delivery to the customer.

You are structured and solution-oriented even in complex environments, with the ability to create clarity and stability in daily operations. You are confident in leading and developing others, setting direction and prioritizing operational work, while having a natural drive for improvement and turning analysis and insights into concrete actions.

As a person, you are positive, curious, and eager to learn, with an interest in working methods, processes, and systems. You lead through collaboration and trust and use new operational and organizational knowledge to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability in the business.
