Sales Controller at Axess Logistics

About the Position

As a Sales Controller at Axess Logistics, you will have a central and business-oriented function with a clear focus on sales, profitability, and decision support. You will work closely with the sales organization, Key Account Managers, and the sales manager to follow up on business deals, ensure correct pricing, and develop analyses that strengthen both customer business and the company's margins. The role is new and under development, which gives you great scope to influence structures, models, and working methods. You will be part of the controller team and report to the Controller Manager, but your focus will be on the commercial side – not on traditional financial closing work. Here you are close to the business, act as a sounding board, and contribute insights that make a difference in everyday life.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up and analysis of new business, business cases, and margins
• Pre- and post-calculations, including spot prices and fleet deals
• Pricing, price lists, and harmonization of pricing models
• Analysis of customer and product profitability, mix, volume, and gross margin
• Support to the sales organization in quotes, tenders, and commercial decisions
• Identify white spots, low penetration, and development opportunities per customer/segment
• Development of reports and analysis in CRM, Power BI, and Excel
• Contribute to ongoing system and CRM implementations with a focus on sales support

Suitable Background

You have several years of experience in a business-oriented controller role, such as Sales Controller, Pricing Manager, or Category Manager. You have worked with margin calculations, sales, and profitability analyses and are used to developing reports and models yourself – not just working from existing ones. As a person, you thrive in a role with many contact points and have the ability to communicate numbers in a pedagogical and convincing manner. You are confident, structured, and have a strong personality – you dare to stand behind your analyses and engage in discussions even with strong-willed stakeholders. At the same time, you are unpretentious and solution-oriented and appreciate supporting others in their decision-making. You have good system skills, excellent knowledge of Excel, and experience with BI tools. You are fluent in Swedish and English. An academic education in economics is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is your business drive, analytical ability, and interest in developing the sales organization.
