About the Position

As a designer at CEPA Steeltech, you will work to drive and develop the company's design work with a focus on refining sheet metal components from customers. The job involves collaborating with colleagues to develop solutions that meet customer requirements while enabling cost- and time-efficient production.

You will have close dialogues with customers and be involved in the entire process, from further developing and adapting design documentation to ensuring that the final product meets the right quality. In practice, this means that you, in collaboration with production, will create and adapt drawings, documentation, and descriptions of new products. The role is broad and varied, and you will have the opportunity to influence both processes and working methods with regard to sustainability, environment, and quality.

You will become part of their R&D team, which has a strong focus on innovation and growth, but your role will also extend cross-functionally within the company. This means that you will assist several parts of the organization, from marketing and purchasing to the quality department.

The position as a designer is a direct recruitment to CEPA Steeltech AB with a start date according to agreement.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in similar tasks within the manufacturing industry and who has worked with a 3D CAD tool, specifically Inventor. You have experience in reading drawings and creating production drawings. You have basic knowledge of quality and environment, as well as experience working with business systems related to production; their system is Monitor. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience or understanding of the manufacturing and processing of sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, or black steel is an advantage.
