Job Description
As a Power Engineer at AFRY, you will work on various types of projects and assignments, which will be guided by your expertise, the client's needs, and your personal ambition and development plan. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with:
- Feasibility studies and investigations
- Tender documents
- Short circuit calculations and selective plans
- Design & commissioning
- Project management
There are also good opportunities to work in other power-related areas such as relay testing, measurement and analysis of power quality, and inspections.
The Electric Power section at AFRY in Gothenburg currently consists of a group of 14 employees working in a specialist group within power engineering. We drive advanced power projects for our external clients, ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to vehicle development/manufacturing to complex facilities in hospitals. We also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise in power engineering. This means we are present across AFRY's entire customer base, which is incredibly exciting. Qualifications
You have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy taking on new assignments with both drive and commitment. You value an outgoing role where you can build relationships and feel responsible for your tasks.
To succeed and thrive in your role as a power engineer, we would like you to have:
- Post-secondary education in power engineering
- A valid driver's license (B) as travel may be a natural part of your role.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have work experience in power engineering.
