Job Description

In our specialist group within electric power at Electric Power, we work from idea to finished facility in the industry. We work closely together, learn from each other, and have fun along the way.

We drive advanced electric power projects for clients in sectors such as petrochemicals, automotive development, and healthcare, while also supporting AFRY's divisions with our specialist expertise. This means we are present across AFRY's entire client base – making the job both varied and exciting.

As an Electric Power Engineer, you will play a central role in our projects, both with clients and in-house. You will work with:

• Tender documents for low and medium voltage switchgear

• Investigations and feasibility studies

• Technical consulting

• Network calculations and selective plans

There is also an opportunity to take on the role of project manager with customer and budget responsibility, as well as to broaden your expertise in areas such as relay testing, power quality, and inspections.

Qualifications

Structure and order are important to you, while you also want to develop yourself and contribute to the development of both colleagues and clients.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in electric power or equivalent experience.

• Several years of experience in electric power, preferably as a designer or project manager.

• Knowledge of contract law and AMA.

• Experience with AutoCAD and familiarity with report writing.

• Driver's license B

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience with Febdok or other network calculation programs, as well as a practical background as a service or industrial electrician, is an advantage.

The position may require you to work on our security-classified projects. This means that a security clearance will be conducted according to Swedish legislation on security protection. To meet the requirements, you need to hold a citizenship that complies with the provisions of the security protection regulation, and there must be no obstacles according to the criteria for security classification.
