Do you have experience in Android development and are looking for a new challenge in customer-facing projects? Then you should read on.

As an Android Software Developer, you will work with platform-related components and systems that drive modern infotainment systems for vehicles. You will contribute to Android's system services, frameworks, and platform features, ensuring performance, reliability, and smooth integration between hardware and application layers.

You will also develop new platform functionality in Java/Kotlin with integrated embedded C++ components. You will participate in design and code reviews and support CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration occurs in customer projects and cross-functional engineering teams that contribute to both feature development and the long-term development of the platform.

For example, you will:

• Develop and maintain Android features for infotainment in vehicles.
• Implement and develop features in Java/Kotlin and integrate with embedded C++ layers.
• Conduct design and code reviews of platform components.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and maintain clear documentation.
• Contribute to Android OS upgrade projects and ensure compatibility with hardware and applications.

• Has a college or university degree in computer engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Has experience in Android development, preferably within infotainment systems or equivalent.
• Possesses knowledge in Java and Kotlin.
• Has knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English as these languages are communicated internally and externally.

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in C++ for embedded integration.
• Knowledge of infotainment systems for vehicles and hybrid development environments.
• Documented experience with Android version upgrades, API changes, platform migrations, and validation in automotive or embedded environments
