HR Specialist for a Vital Public Authority

We are looking for someone with a strong service mindset to support our managers and employees in a vital public authority!

We offer a varied job where you will work broadly with HR issues. You will do this by being one of two HR specialists providing support and advice primarily to managers, whom we want to give the best conditions to lead their employees and their operations. You will support them in matters such as labor law, recruitment, salary review, systematic work environment management, rehabilitation, and long-term competence supply. You will also contribute to the development and training of managers. The job includes a significant amount of personnel administration related to the various areas.

The HR unit consists of five employees: two HR specialists, one payroll manager, one payroll administrator, and one HR manager.

We are looking for someone who has

  • a university degree in HR
  • at least five years of current experience working with both strategic and operational HR issues within public sector
  • good knowledge of labor law
  • good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have

  • worked with HR issues within the government
  • handled cases in the personnel responsibility committee
  • developed processes and supported managers in the work environment area.

We want you to feel confident in the role of HR specialist. You are professional and have a solution-focused approach. You are unpretentious and find it easy to collaborate with others. You also adapt easily and change direction when circumstances change, demonstrating good judgment in your actions and in dialogue with employees and managers. You take responsibility and are happy to help where needed, even if the task does not fall within your area. You are meticulous and plan your work to deliver on time. You work in a structured manner so that you can handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Employment Conditions

Employment type: Fixed-term employment until 2026-12-31

Working hours: Full-time

Workplace: Stockholm

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement

The position is classified in a security class. Therefore, we will conduct a security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
