IT Operations Manager

We are now looking for a structured and long-term thinking IT generalist who wants to take overall responsibility for order, structure, and continuous improvements within our IT support and infrastructure. You will be part of our IT team and support Ramudden Nordics & Baltics, which includes 5 countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Estonia).

About the position

As an IT Operations Manager, you will have a central role between the business, external IT operations partners, and our internal IT systems. You will work closely with our external IT partners who currently handle IT support and server operations. Ensure that the work is conducted in a structured, proactive manner with a focus on continuous improvements.

An important part of the role is also the responsibility for the management, further development, and implementation of a configurable planning system used in several countries. The value of the system largely depends on correct structure, configuration, and long-term management – something you will have a significant influence over.

What will you do with us?

• Be the main contact for external IT operations and support providers
• Introduce and drive structures for continuous improvements within support and operations (e.g., processes, routines, follow-ups)
• Ensure clear working methods, documentation, and division of responsibilities
• Follow up on quality, deliveries, and SLAs
• Shared responsibility for the management, technical configuration, and further development of our planning system
• Participate in and drive the implementation of new solutions in different countries
• Act as a long-term support to the organization in matters related to IT structure and infrastructure

Location: Gävle, with some flexibility to work remotely or from another location.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are an all-round IT profile with a strong sense of structure, order, and wholeness. You thrive on improving, standardizing, and building sustainable solutions – rather than just putting out fires. Although the role is largely coordinating, we are looking for a person who takes initiative and can solve certain technical parts.

We believe you have:

• Experience in IT infrastructure, IT support, or IT management
• Good technical understanding (servers, systems, integrations, or equivalent)
• Experience in requirement specification and follow-up with external suppliers
• Ability to work in a structured and long-term manner
• Interest in processes, improvement work, and quality
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience with ITIL, Continual Service Improvement, or similar frameworks
• Experience in system implementation in an international environment
• Experience with configurable business or planning systems
