System Administrator for IT-Digital Workplace

The IT Administration is the common IT organization of Region Gävleborg with approximately 160 employees. We deliver IT services and digital solutions to all parts of the region's operations – from healthcare journal systems to digital tools for public transport. The IT-Digital Workplace is a newly created unit tasked with translating the region's digital strategy into practical, cohesive, and secure digital working methods. We develop a modern, user-friendly, and secure digital work environment in close dialogue with the operations. Our team consists of about 9 employees who work together to deliver effective and operationally relevant IT solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a system administrator, you will have important system responsibilities and work closely with colleagues to ensure that implementation, management, and development are conducted in a structured and needs-adapted manner. Your main focus will be to implement, develop, and manage Purview in our IT environment and ensure that the system supports the operations' processes and quality requirements. You will work closely with colleagues in IT management and in close dialogue with the operations in the region to ensure that our digital solutions meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

• manage systems according to applicable decisions, laws, plans, agreements, and processes
• configure, plan, test, and verify systems
• participate in the development of functions and integrations
• create and update system documentation, manuals, and routines
• monitor the external environment and stay updated within your area of responsibility
• be part of the object's third-line support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a senior and knowledgeable system administrator with a very good ability to analyze complex issues and solve problems in a structured and efficient manner. You are results-oriented and have an easy time translating needs into practical solutions that create value for both the IT environment and the operations.

You have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in close dialogue with colleagues in IT management as well as with representatives from the operations. Furthermore, you take initiative, drive development issues forward, and ensure that implementation, management, and further development are conducted in a qualitative and needs-adapted manner.

For the position, the following is required:

• technical education at the post-secondary level or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer
• solid experience in implementing and managing Purview
• system knowledge of the M365 platform
• experience in information classification and information governance
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

If you have experience working in the public sector and/or have certification in SC-400/SC-401, it is meritorious for the position.
