At the IT Management department, we work closely with our clients to ensure high-quality development, technology, and deliveries. We are responsible for the operation, management, development, and support of IT services that are crucial for the entire organization. The IT Administrative Systems unit is a central part of Region Gävleborg's IT management and is tasked with ensuring that our administrative systems function optimally and support the needs of the operations. This involves continuous work to manage and further develop existing systems as well as driving the implementation of new solutions that strengthen the organization's digital development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a system administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the management and development of various IT systems in accordance with our operations' needs. You will work closely with our operations, suppliers, and other employees within IT management.

Main Responsibilities

• manage systems according to decisions, laws, plans, agreements, and processes
• plan, test, and verify systems in connection with development and upgrades
• participate in the development of modules/functions/systems both internally and with suppliers
• develop training materials, manuals, and procedural descriptions
• drive assignments/projects within the object that involve planning, executing, and following up
• monitor the external environment and keep yourself updated within your area of responsibility
• be part of the third-line support for the object
• ensure coordination and effective collaboration between involved parties in system management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has the ability to plan and organize their work effectively. In this role, you need to be proactive and independently drive processes forward while having strong collaborative skills and being able to create close dialogue with both operations, suppliers, and colleagues within IT management. Your ability to understand user needs, adapt, and take responsibility is central to succeeding with us.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• previous experience in system administration or similar work
• knowledge of IT systems and good familiarity with digital tools
• the ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is an advantage if you also have previous experience and understanding of scheduling and scheduling processes.
