NOC Operator at Transtema We are now looking for someone who wants to help secure infrastructure within mobile networks, communication networks, and site-related equipment. You will belong to the Network Operations Center, NOC, and work from our office in Gävle. You will be part of a team where you will handle network equipment and its traffic, as well as manage related infrastructure tasks within telecom and datacom. We warmly welcome your application!

About the position As a NOC Operator, you will work in a team whose main task is to keep our customers' services free from disruptions 24/7 - 365 days a year.

You will monitor, register, prioritize, and resolve incoming alarms and issues. Once you have done everything possible from the NOC, you will escalate the cases to other instances or field organizations. You will also be responsible for monitoring that planned work is carried out according to established processes.

Since you will be part of the 24/7/365 operations, you are expected to work shifts, which means you will work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Your shifts will be planned and scheduled in advance, but sometimes urgent needs may arise where additional shifts may be required. Together, the team works to ensure that a flawless network is continuously delivered, improved conditions, and a workplace with a twinkle in the eye.

Some of your main tasks will be:

• Monitor incoming alarms, issues, and deviations
• Create, log, and document incident management cases
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Analyze, approve, and manage planned work in the networks
• Escalate cases to relevant parties via support systems, calls, or emails
• Manage site access and egress
• Handle all cases according to agreed SLA/KPI levels
• Be the SPOC for various types of operational issues affecting our customers

We are looking for someone who Has knowledge of the operation of various networks within IP networks, wavelength networks, critical infrastructures, and their role and relation to other networks and end-user services.

Has an understanding and interest in working in many different event-driven operational environments and can work with multiple parallel IT applications and tools.

Can be flexible and step in to work extra shifts during unplanned absences or during high workloads and can work shifts during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

It is advantageous if you have experience from working with NOC/operations/support or similar tasks.

It is advantageous if you have certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or are in the final stages of an education in computer networks or network technology.

Scope: Full-time, permanent. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Three shifts; day, evening, and night during weekdays and weekends.
