As an experienced .NET developer with us, you will play a central role in the entire development chain – from early ideas and architectural discussions to implementation, testing, operation/monitoring, and further development. You will work in both new and existing systems and influence how we build the products and platforms of the future. With us, you can become an important voice in our technical choices, our development strategy, and our long-term product vision. The position is based in Gävle.

We are looking for a developer with at least five years of experience in modern system development in C#/.NET. You are curious about new technologies, keep up with industry developments, and thrive in an environment where architecture, best practices, and modern technology are discussed. You appreciate working together with others – but also have a strong drive, take initiative, and actively contribute to driving product development forward. 

We also welcome senior applicants and can adapt the role based on your experience. For those who are senior developers , we would like you to also:

• Be able to drive architectural and design issues in collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, both internal and external

• Take an active role in further developing the architecture in connection with our ongoing modernization and integration of multiple systems

• Act as a technical sounding board and mentor, contributing to effective working methods and high code quality in the team

• Be involved in making technical decisions that affect our products in the long term – from technology choices to how we work with testing, deployment, and operations

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in modern system development in C# and .NET

• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB

• Experience working in agile development teams

• A strong interest in modern architecture, code quality, and long-term sustainable solutions

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you also have experience with:

• Container technology and/or Linux

• Frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or Blazor

• Well-designed APIs with REST and/or GraphQL

• Authentication frameworks such as OAuth2 / OpenID Connect (OIDC)

• Architecture, design, and structural issues:

  • Design patterns

  • Distributed systems

  • Automated testing

  • Domain-driven Design
