About Passalen

We are now looking for a temporary Senior Project Manager to lead and develop our successful program "Klubbar by Passalen" in Stockholm – a program that supports children and young people with disabilities to have an active and inclusive leisure time.

Passalen is a non-profit organization that works for a more inclusive society that recognizes the potential in all children. We create inclusion for children and young people with disabilities who need support in organizing their leisure time, finding a friend, or trying out summer jobs, and we conduct activities that promote meetings between people.

Passalen is a collective agreement member and operates in several locations in Sweden. As an employee with us, you will develop and learn on the job and contribute to a more inclusive and socially sustainable society.

Klubbar by Passalen

Passalen's activities are carried out through various programs and projects, in this role you will work in "Klubbar by Passalen" which is a program that offers meaningful leisure activities for children and young people with disabilities. Through evening and weekend activities at youth centers, swimming pools, libraries, and other meeting places, community, participation, and new friendships are created.

Passalen works in close collaboration with several municipalities in Stockholm where we support the target group to take part in the city's regular leisure offerings. We work according to our self-developed method “integrated arena” which includes 9 different support measures to increase participation for children and young people with disabilities.

Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving and developing the program “Klubbar by Passalen” in Stockholm. This means you should be able to independently plan, drive, lead, and follow up on the project's implementation – from start to evaluation.

You will lead a team of young employees, collaborate with various municipalities in Stockholm and different partners, and be responsible for ensuring that the operations meet set goals. You will report results, participate in meetings with officials, and present the program at various forums. The role also includes planning and conducting various types of training internally and externally.

This role is suitable for you who have experience in project managing operational work. You need to have the ability to plan, execute, and achieve results. You enjoy taking responsibility and leading and making decisions even in challenging situations. You have the ability to work independently, carefully plan the content of the operations, and ensure that it is carried out with high quality. You have experience in leading young employees. Additionally, you are used to following up and analyzing results to continuously develop the work forward.

Formal requirements

· Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences, or other relevant higher education.

· Documented experience in project management, preferably within the non-profit sector or public sector.

· Experience working with children and young people, especially with a focus on disabilities or inclusion.

· Good experience in working goal-oriented and following up operations against set goals.

· Experience in personnel management and leading teams.

· Very good administrative skills and experience in documenting and reporting the results of operations.

· Good computer skills and ability to work in digital tools and systems.

· Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious for the position

· Experience working in the non-profit sector in collaboration with municipalities or other public actors.

· Previous work in cultural, leisure, or youth activities.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period, and the position may therefore be filled before the application deadline.

Extent: Full-time

Duration: From April 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Thereafter, there are very good chances for an extension until August 2027.
