Care Assistant for Resource Group in Special Housing
Are you flexible, social, and structured, and can you handle unexpected events? Do you want to make everyday life easier for the residents of Malmö who need your help and make them feel that "Every day is the most important!"? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
The special housing in Malmö City consists of six units. We are now looking for care assistants for the resource group within special housing, unit 3, resource area 3. As a care assistant in the resource group, you will work on a fixed schedule (day/evening and every other weekend). You will be placed in a resource area and work in its various operations. This means you may be placed in different workgroups within the resource area according to the needs of the operations.
Our resource area is based at:
- Danska vägen 16 A and C
- Husiegård, Ernst Jakobssons gata 7
- Apelrosen, von Troils väg 8B
Job Responsibilities
You will provide care, service, and support to the users – always with a focus on person-centered care. The work also involves:
- Handling medical tasks delegated by a nurse
- Documenting in the Life Care system
- Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals
As an employee in the resource group, you will not be a contact person, which gives you more room to focus on daily care work and the urgent needs of the operations.
Qualifications
You are a trained care assistant with a strong interest and commitment to your profession, where you are willing to go the extra mile. We prefer that you have experience with dementia diseases, and of course, you are confident in your professional role, have good empathetic skills, and always put our residents at the center.
Good collaboration and joy at work are prerequisites for fulfilling our mission. We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute with their experiences, knowledge, curiosity, and thoughts in the team. Together with your colleagues, you are creative, solution-focused, and flexible, and you handle different situations that arise.
You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Documentation is an important part of the care assistant's role, and you need to have good computer skills.
