JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an occupational therapist colleague to our fantastic rehabilitation unit!

With us, you will be part of a team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff. Together, we create the conditions for individuals to live as independently as possible. Together, you will be part of the team and make a real difference in everyday life.

You will have overall rehabilitation responsibility together with the physiotherapist. You will specifically be responsible for P-ADL and I-ADL through assessment, training, evaluation, and follow-up, as well as testing and follow-up of technical aids based on the occupational therapist's prescription rights.

Your work will also include informing, instructing, and guiding staff and clients regarding rehabilitative and preventive interventions.

WORK IN SHORT-TERM CARE:

The work is fast-paced with varied tasks, where you have the opportunity to meet your patients several times daily. This is a significant advantage in the work. As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a close-knit team that works and collaborates daily around the patients. Since patients stay with us for a shorter period, quick interventions from the occupational therapist are required, which is beneficial for early mapping of patients' functional and activity abilities and providing the right support from a rehabilitative perspective. The work in short-term care is both enjoyable and challenging. As an occupational therapist, you create conditions for individuals to live as independently, actively, and meaningfully as possible, with a person-centered approach and a focus on the healthy aspects. It is essential to have good contact with relatives and good teamwork to create security and excellent service for patients and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed occupational therapist. You have the ability to plan and structure your work from a patient perspective. As a person, you are attentive and have good empathetic skills. The work requires that you have a good ability to work both independently and in a team.

A B driver's license is required, and you must be able to drive a car for work purposes.
