The health center Kryddgården is a large health center with broad expertise, offering our patients a wide range of healthcare services. We are located in a multicultural area where you meet people from all corners of the world, of different ages and with various health conditions on a daily basis. Our operations consist of a medical clinic, laboratory, and several nurse-led clinics such as smoking cessation, asthma/COPD, diabetes, district nurse clinic, among others. We also have a rehabilitation coordinator, psychologist, and social worker at the unit, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The administrative group of the health center consists of medical secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and management support. The medical team consists of specialists in general medicine, residents, and junior doctors. In your work, you will closely collaborate with our various professional categories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a resident physician, you will have an exciting and challenging job with good conditions for a broad education within the specialty. Your training will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor to make it as optimal and interesting as possible. You will work with common tasks such as planned and urgent medical visits, supervision of students, and serve as a consulting physician for nurses.

As a resident physician with us, you will receive a broad and well-planned education in general medicine. You will receive support from experienced specialists, high-quality supervision, and the opportunity to develop across the entire breadth of primary care, including work with our specialist clinics. Together, we create a safe and learning environment where you can grow into the role of future specialist.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. To be eligible for a residency position in general medicine, you must have completed basic clinical training (BT) or previously completed general clinical training (AT) according to older regulations. Proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Experience from primary care is an advantage, and we are looking for someone who wants to develop long-term within general medicine.

We are looking for someone who is positive, shows commitment, and has a patient-focused and service-oriented approach in their work. To thrive as a resident physician here, you need to have good collaboration skills and high social competence, as well as a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

A permanent position as a resident physician may be preceded by a fixed-term position as a junior doctor for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for filling residency positions within primary care.
