Pentronic is a leading European supplier of industrial temperature sensors and temperature measurement equipment.

We are now looking for a Head Planner who will take overall responsibility for planning and drive the development of our planning work together with production and sales.

About the position

As Head Planner, you are the hub between sales and production. You are responsible for overall production planning, capacity frameworks, and inventory management, as well as driving our S&OP work. You will develop and manage the planning system support (Jeeves) and support team leaders in daily management. You analyze the causes of delivery deviations, initiate improvements, and ensure clear communication regarding delivery requests and changes. The role reports to the Production Manager.

Your main responsibilities

• Overall production planning and coordination between production flows
• Capacity planning and inventory management, as well as further development of S&OP together with sales
• System expert in planning for operational planning (Jeeves)
• Support for daily management and fine planning; follow-up on delivery precision and deviations
• Communication regarding delivery requests, priorities, and changes
• Competence development in planning and improvement work throughout the flow

Your qualifications

• Several years of experience in production planning in the manufacturing industry (preferably with high-mix/low-volume)
• Good understanding of S&OP, capacity management, and inventory principles
• Proficient user of business/planning systems (preferably Jeeves or similar)
• Strong analytical skills, structured and communicative – you thrive in the role of coordinating link
• Post-secondary education in production/logistics/industrial economics or equivalent experience
