About the Role

As a mechanical designer at AFRY, you will work in a customer-focused assignment for an international manufacturer of production equipment, focusing on machines and complete production lines. You will work with mechanical design throughout the entire development chain. This includes creating 3D models and drawings in CAD, adapting and further developing existing machine concepts, and designing special solutions based on the customer's specific needs. You will be responsible for your part of the design while collaborating closely with other technical areas such as electrical, automation, and robotics.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role of mechanical designer, we believe you have good collaboration skills and strong social competence. You also feel a sense of responsibility and commitment to your work and have a burning interest in technology as well as the ability to lead yourself. You find it easy to collaborate, communicate, and understand others' needs, and you work in a structured and meticulous manner to deliver high quality in your work. Furthermore, you have a university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience. You are fluent in both English and Swedish and enjoy being a spider in the web.

Requirements for the Position:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
Good knowledge of overall mechanical design
Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable for the Position:

Work experience in a similar role
Knowledge of drawing standards
