At Kvarnholmen Health Center in Kalmar, we are staffing for a goal of a lower number of listed patients per doctor to ensure good continuity and a good working environment.

This means that we take care of our patients as long as they do not need hospital resources and we work with a well-functioning home healthcare system. We use the concept “Call your doctor” to strengthen relationship continuity, and for those who need medical assistance the same day, we have something we call an emergency team. Working with Wise Clinical Choices is a given for us.

About you

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine. It is important to us that you are stable and secure, have a professional attitude, and a good approach. You should be easy to collaborate with and able to work in a structured and quality-conscious manner. Patients should feel well cared for when they meet you.

Your future workplace

Kvarnholmen Health Center is a medium-sized health center, with about 7400 listed patients, located in central Kalmar with a beautiful view of the canal. Our patient clientele is varied and multifaceted. In addition to varied outpatient work, there is the opportunity to work with child healthcare and home healthcare. We have a well-developed collaboration with community nurses and conduct home visits together.

At Kvarnholmen Health Center, different professional categories work closely together, and the collaboration between them is a natural part of our patient work. Your new colleagues consist of specialists in general medicine, training doctors, district nurses, and nurses with specialist clinics, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, psychologists, and social workers.
