Children, Youth and Family Unit

The Children, Youth and Family Unit is part of the Individual and Family Care within Sollefteå Municipality.

In the unit, 21 social workers work in four different groups: reception/family law, investigation, intervention, and foster homes/contact persons/contact families. The unit also has access to administrative resources.

To meet the increasing demands on our operations and to strengthen our operational idea, where we actively work from a systemic foundation to highlight people's resources and support change, we want to offer good support to our caseworkers.

One of our previous case supervisors has recently left the organization, and we are therefore looking for a replacement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a case supervisor, you lead and distribute the work in cases within the unit. You make decisions according to delegation and are responsible for the operational support to our caseworkers.

The assignment requires in-depth knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations, other rules, and practices. The role of case supervisor also includes monitoring changes in legal areas as well as some internal training in case handling and documentation, as well as BBIC.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in social work and extensive experience in social services and authority practice. Furthermore, you have specific knowledge about children's and adolescents' development and needs, as well as experience working with BBIC in the Lifecare data system.

We strive to work solution-oriented and systemically, so it is an advantage if you have knowledge of systems theory.

It is important that you have a good attitude and strong collaboration skills, both with colleagues within IFO and in your dialogue with clients, contractors, and other authorities.

As a person, you need to be calm and stable in stressful situations. You should be adaptable to changing conditions and have the ability to prioritize your and the group's tasks during the workday. You plan and organize your work efficiently and have strong analytical skills that you use to make sound judgments.

A driver's license is required as your placement will be in central Sollefteå, but the entire municipality is your work field.
