ABOUT THE POSITION

The position is approximately 75% and involves 24-hour shifts, about 7-8 shifts per month, which allows for longer continuous time off between shifts. Working hours are scheduled from 08:45 to 08:45 with overnight waiting time. During the shifts, you will sleep in my apartment and share my daily life. The assignment suits you who thrive with freedom under responsibility and want to be an important part of another person's life - not just perform tasks.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

I am very happy, playful, and very social. I am an adult man but have needs and behaviors similar to those of a small child. I walk and run, but I need help with most things.

I love to socialize with people and do things together. I want you to be part of my social contexts – not just stand by. Walks and outdoor activities are an important part of my daily life, and café visits, car trips, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, playing, and hugging are a natural part of the work shift.

I communicate without verbal language, and we use alternative communication methods (AK), where photographs are a significant part of my way of understanding and being understood. I need you to be curious, attentive, and present.

Every day I go to my daily activities with my workmates. There, I participate in swimming, horseback riding, music and dance, outdoor group, and dog group. It is an important part of my life where I thrive, am active, and can be with others.

In addition to this, we shape everyday life together. There is room to think for yourself, feel in, and create a life that is more than routines. There are no detailed schedules minute by minute – instead, everyday life is built on trust, judgment, and our relationship. You are secure enough to take your own initiatives and attentive enough to do it together with me. You act as my extra hand in my daily life.

I need help with most practical matters in everyday life, such as food, hygiene, and dressing and undressing. But the most important thing in your role is who you are, not just what you do.

• Driver's license B and access to a car (used in the job, travel compensation applies).
