ABOUT THE POSITION
At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at 100% for our client in Sundsvall, near the hospital. This is a summer temporary position during weeks 27–30. Working hours are weekdays from 08:00–16:00, with an unpaid one-hour break between 12:00–13:00. We are also looking for hourly substitutes who can start working immediately. Therefore, it is a big plus if you want to work extra as an hourly substitute now and also after the summer.
The start date is June 29th, and an introduction will take place before then.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a man in his 70s who lives with his wife. He has a great interest in hockey and golf and enjoys walks, especially when the snow has melted. After a stroke, he lives with aphasia and needs support in his daily life. We are now looking for a personal assistant who, with engagement and sensitivity, can help him live an independent and meaningful life.
The duties include:
- Support in daily routines, including household chores
- Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
- Handling medication according to medication delegation
- Helping with transfers using a wheelchair, walker, and gait belt
- Facilitating communication with the assistive device Lexia and training
- Accompanying on outdoor outings and various activities

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and have the ability to understand and adapt to individual needs. You are sensitive, humorous, flexible, and independent, while also having a high level of commitment to your work. Since the client enjoys taking long walks, we see that you have good physical fitness. The work involves a lot of movement outdoors along pathways in an area with many hills, so it is important that you enjoy being active. Personal suitability is highly valued, and our client prefers female applicants.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and approve using your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a residence certificate as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the residence certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
