Operations
As a social secretary in the Child and Family Unit, you work with investigations and interventions for children and young people aged 0–18 and their families, in accordance with current legislation. The unit is divided into several groups, such as reception, investigation, interventions (placements of children and young people), and family law. You will primarily work with authority exercises and together with your colleagues ensure that the right interventions are implemented in each individual case.
We use the method support "Children's Needs in Focus" (BBIC) to structure our work, and our documentation takes place in the operation system LifeCare. You also have support from administrative staff that facilitates the administrative work, which frees up time for client contact and interventions. We also have a reception that is part of the operation, which works on behalf of the child and family unit as well as the economy and adult unit.

We work to implement early, easily accessible, and preventive interventions that make a difference for children and families. Collaboration with other units and actors is an important part of our work, which makes us stronger in our assignments.
We are looking for a social secretary on a fixed-term basis, as one of our employees will be on parental leave.
Job Responsibilities
As a social secretary, you work with authority exercises, according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU). You are responsible for investigating the need for support and help for children, young people, and their parents, as well as for making decisions about and following up on interventions according to these laws. Your work includes case handling, documentation, and a process-oriented work with the families we meet. The role also includes social standby some weekends per year but may change based on experienced decisions.
Closely supervised by a coordinator and external guidance is part of the work.
We are looking for you who
- have a social work degree, which is a requirement, as well as a driver's license.
- can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
We consider it meritorious with
- experience of authority exercises within social child care.
- experience of case handling and documentation knowledge according to BBIC.
- experience of working in the operation system LifeCare and other computer skills.

Other Information
Hybrid work is offered to some extent after agreement with the manager.
Trust-based working hours apply and is an individual agreement between the manager and the employee. Flexible working hours/flextime may also be offered.

A fixed-term employment for 1 year.
