We work with authority exercises in economic assistance, harmful use and dependence, as well as domestic violence. The goal within economic assistance is for individuals, with the help of social services, to become self-sufficient.

We are a stable team with long experience of working purposefully towards self-sufficiency in collaboration with other actors. We are engaged in the changes that occur due to the activity requirement and other changes within economic assistance.

About the Position

The position involves investigating, assessing, and deciding on the right to economic assistance primarily for newly arrived individuals, both ongoing and new visits. The role includes actively supporting, motivating, and strengthening individuals' belief in their own ability to eventually become self-sufficient. The work involves authority exercises and collaboration with other internal and external actors.

All work within the unit is qualified social work where decisions are made based on legal security, i.e., applicable laws, guidelines, and case law. The position also includes having regional preparedness.

Qualifications

• A degree in social work is required
• We prefer that you have experience in the area of economic assistance
