A Job Close to Life and Death

Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's wishes. Some of the tasks as a customer advisor, ceremony host, and transporter include:

• Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to follow-up
• Offering advice on planning and executing the funeral ceremony, including choosing the type of ceremony, coffins, urns, and other details
• Creating cost estimates, handling invoicing and payments
• Coordinating and maintaining contact with external suppliers such as florists, congregations, faith communities, and authorities
• Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other venues during ceremonies, which involves overall responsibility for ensuring the ceremony meets the customer's order satisfactorily
• Handling the deceased during personal farewells and preparation for the ceremony
• Performing pickups of the deceased in private homes and residences
• Vehicle care – our vehicles should be as well-maintained as our service

We are looking for a new colleague for our team at our office in Sollefteå. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting immediately or by agreement. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.

What You Bring

• You have a driver's license and good driving experience with larger vehicles in urban environments
• You have good physical fitness as several heavy lifts occur in the job
• You are structured and have a very good ability to plan and organize your work even when the pace varies
• Experience in customer-focused work
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems are an advantage
• Willingness to work outside office hours, including evenings and weekends
• It is a merit if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields
