Pupil health is available for all municipal schools, and together with other staff, we work to achieve the goals of the curricula and contribute to creating a good learning environment for students. The pupil health service in Örnsköldsvik municipality is centrally organized.

The pupil health service includes medical, psychological, social, and special educational competencies, focusing on children's physical and mental health, as well as their participation, learning, and personal development. The work is based on collaboration with children/students, parents, staff, and various partners.

If you are new to your profession, you will be offered an introduction and mentorship from an experienced colleague, as well as a short training in HBTQi based on the organization's certification.

We are now looking for a school social worker for the primary school, starting as soon as possible.

Job Responsibilities

The starting point for the work is to use various competencies to meet students' needs for support and enable learning and goal fulfillment. The work takes place at the individual, group, and school levels.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Experience working with children and youth is an advantage.

A valid driver's license with at least category B and access to a personal vehicle is required.
