The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic (BUP) in Västernorrland is a regional clinic with approximately 120 employees. Outpatient services are provided in Örnsköldsvik, Sollefteå, Härnösand, and Sundsvall. In Sundsvall, there is also inpatient care and intermediate care in collaboration with Adult Psychiatry and the Children's Clinic. The clinic has a long tradition of a systemic approach in meeting children and adolescents and their families. We use various treatment methods, both individually and in groups, based on systemic, psychodynamic, and cognitive perspectives.

We at BUP are now looking for a social worker to join our team. The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start, as agreed. Within BUP, there are opportunities for training and further education. There are possibilities for supervision and further education within the clinic.

Social Worker for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Sollefteå

Your main responsibilities as a social worker within BUP include assessment, investigation, and treatment work at both individual and group levels. At the clinic, social workers, psychologists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and a manager work together. We receive families where children and adolescents exhibit serious psychiatric issues requiring specialized interventions. We have a multidisciplinary approach and use evidence-based treatment methods with various focuses. Treatment often occurs in close collaboration with other healthcare providers and networks such as schools and social services.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in social work

It is advantageous if you

• Have basic psychotherapy training
• Are a trained health and medical care social worker
• Have experience working with children, adolescents, and families
• Have work experience in child and adolescent psychiatric care
• Have experience working in adult psychiatry or social services
