Warm welcome to my home and my family!

I am a three-year-old girl, lively, cheerful, and full of energy. I love when things happen - a lot and often, preferably as mischievous as possible (to my parents' chagrin). Despite this, I face some challenges. I was born seriously ill and it has turned out that I have epilepsy, a metabolic disease (monitored by a blood sugar meter, cgm), and an ultra-rare syndrome that comes with several challenges. I also have a button on my stomach through which I receive all my nutrition (gastrostomy). I am working on eating food at every meal, and my current favorite is bearnaise sauce. My family consists of me, my big sister who is 6 years old, and my mom and dad.

If you ask us parents, we want a reliable assistant who is grounded. You need to be able to meet our daughter at both high and low levels. She has a high energy level and things can change quickly, so you need to be able to match that. Sometimes there are moments for calm when she likes to sit in someone's lap and cuddle, so you need to master this and everything in between. Since our daughter has a complicated medical condition, we see that you are open to learning new things. We do not expect you to know everything from the start, but we have a strong desire for you to be willing to learn. It is important for you to know that we learn together along the way; it is important for us parents that you feel secure in your tasks and in your relationship with our daughter. We see it as a great advantage if you have worked with children before. We would like you to have a desire to work long-term with our daughter, as we believe continuity is important and that we let in as few new people as possible into our home so she has a chance to create good and close relationships.

The hours involved are mainly afternoons after preschool until bedtime and weekend shifts during the day. You can also influence your schedule in consultation with us.

It is particularly meritorious if:

• You have experience working with children
• You have previous experience with gastrostomy
• You are familiar with (T)AKK.
• You have a desire to work long-term with our daughter

We are looking for someone who can work extra as needed. The most important thing for us is that you have commitment and a willingness to learn; we will solve the rest together along the way.

As parents, we want you to feel that it is fun to go to work, that you feel secure both with our child and with the medical complexity and us as a family. Our daughter enjoys when things happen and she has plenty of energy. Therefore, it is particularly important that you are like-minded.

The easiest way to reach us is by car. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement as we live about 500 meters from the bus/train station.

In accordance with God Assistans Policy, we require background checks for everyone working with children, so please order it already when applying.
