The habilitation in Västernorrland is a regional service with about 100 employees located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. The target group for habilitation is people with permanent disabilities, with the largest groups being intellectual disabilities, autism, and cerebral palsy. We work in child/youth/adult teams with an interdisciplinary focus that represents medical, neuropsychological, social, and educational perspectives. The various professional categories include occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, medical secretaries, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nurses. With our interventions, we aim to reduce the difficulties that disabilities can cause in daily life, create conditions for a good life, and promote participation in society.

We are now looking for two social workers for the youth/adult team at the habilitation clinic in Sundsvall. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-04-01 or by agreement.

The largest clinic in the region is located in Sundsvall, where 8 social workers currently work. As a social worker, you have knowledge of how society functions and what rights exist for the target group.

The main job responsibilities are:

• Psychosocial assessments
• Mapping of needs and resources
• Individual and/or group counseling and support

As a social worker, you work daytime Monday - Friday and have the option for flexible hours.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in social work
• Masters the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Are a health and medical care social worker
• Have further education in psychosocial treatment or equivalent
• Have experience working with people with disabilities
