We are looking for assistants for a little girl who needs help around the clock. The girl lives with her family in a villa outside Njurunda, which is about a 20-minute drive south of Sundsvall. Here lives the girl, who is 1.5 years old, together with her mother, father, and older sister. As an assistant, you will be an important part of their lives as the girl requires constant supervision. Since the girl breathes through a tracheostomy, you will always work with another assistant to ensure her breathing functions correctly. A significant part of the job is to prevent blockages in the cannula by regularly suctioning mucus using a tube (suction catheter) and providing mucolytic inhalations.

As an assistant, you will receive tailored training in the medical tasks related to the tracheostomy. The training takes place over several days and includes theoretical and practical components together with the girl and hospital staff. Thereafter, ongoing skills development will occur based on the needs of the assignment.

Who are you as an applicant? We are looking for someone who has personal suitability for the assignment. The chemistry and interaction between you as a personal assistant and the client with their family are crucial for the quality and experience of the work. For us, this means that you are responsible, empathetic, and attentive. As an assistant with a client who requires breathing assistance, you need to be able to work carefully according to instructions, even when it is urgent. Therefore, we see that you are a secure person and enjoy taking initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others in a group. We prefer female applicants for the assistant position.

A prerequisite for you to be able to travel to and from work at the scheduled times. It is important that you are punctual and can keep time but also flexible enough to occasionally step in to cover gaps in staffing. You need to have a driver's license and access to your own car to be able to work in the assignment.

About the employment We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements (Personal Assistance: Fremia/Kommunal). The form of employment applied is for a limited time as long as the assignment lasts.

Working hours vary, and you as an assistant may work day, evening, and night shifts based on your schedule. Currently, we are mainly looking for night staff. A position of 75% or more. We are also looking for someone with experience in leadership, scheduling, and staffing issues. A task you will combine with your assistant role and for which we will compensate you.

About the recruitment The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment will be provided at a possible interview. Start date will be agreed upon.
