We are looking for personal assistants for a cheerful and active young man in his 20s with developmental disabilities. The young man is wheelchair-bound but can walk a few steps with assistance/support. He does not speak but uses some signs for communication.

The job requires you as an assistant to give him your full attention, establish fixed routines, and provide continuity for things to work as well as possible. He has assistance around the clock with double assistance during the day when he is not in school.

We are looking for a responsive person who values the important role of a personal assistant. We seek someone who has a lot of energy and commitment but is also calm, secure, and empathetic. Previous experience is a plus but not a requirement.

He enjoys going to the movies, bowling, being outdoors, grilling sausages, and swimming. It is a fun and free job that requires some planning, but otherwise, it is open to a lot of fun activities that can be organized.

He can walk independently with support if needed indoors. Lifting may occur. Outdoors, a wheelchair is primarily used, operated by the assistant.

The position can be filled immediately and is primarily hourly.

He lives in Örnsköldsvik. Transportation services are available for the job.
